Playing in the Rain by Jane Harvey-Berrick

But then I see him.
I think I see him...
Across the crowds of people,
swirling among the human river,
a flash of blue eyes.
That smile, that love of life, a shock of black hair.
I see him and then he's gone...
Lost somewhere in the sea of faces...

He crashed into my life, like an ocean wave out of a millpond sea.
He changed everything...

Title : Playing in the Rain
Author : Jane Harvey-Berrick
Genre : Contemporary Romance
Rate : 4 heart-warming stars
First post on Goodreads.
Read in July, 2014

"I wish I could spend a lifetime just like this," I said, happily.
"Maybe we can make a lifetime from this moment."
Then I felt him press a kiss into my hair.

Sometimes, God sent His message through some strangers you meet coincidentally on streets...
on the rainy days...

But the fact is...
there's no "coincidence" when it's come from God, right?

If there any authors who can make feel addicted to their writings...Jane Harvey-Berrick - no doubt - is definitely one of them !!!

I only have one word to describe what I feel about this book...

Beautiful....

I remember one Chinese phrase when I read this book....

description

三人行必有我师
sān rén xíng bì yǒu wǒ shī

Means "where there are three men walking together, one of them must be qualified to be my teacher."

You can learn something from people, even if he/she just a beggars or a strangers...or maybe someone you never expected before...

Happiness is when you can make the one you love feels happy...
Happiness is when you can make people smiles...
As for me, Happiness is....when I saw a smile on someone face...
It's priceless.....

And that what Cody did...
He want Ava to "see" the world from his eyes...

A lesson of life can be learn from a simple ordinary young guy like Cody....

"Life can be shit.
I decided a long time ago that being happy is a choice. You can wallow in your own misery and tell everyone what shit fuck you have, or you can face it and smile that fucker fate in face." ~ Cody Richards

And that's why I love this guy....

Jane never failed in creating such a beautiful-simple-down to earth characters that worth to melt for.....

Another inspiring reads worth to try...

RECOMMENDED !!

About The Author
Jane Harvey-Berrick
I lived in London for over 10 years and have a love affair with New York. It's only since I have moved to the countryside, that the words have really begun to flow.

I live in a small village by the ocean and walk my little dog, Pip, every day. It’s on those beachside walks that I have all my best ideas.

Writing has become a way of life – and one that I love to share.
