After attending a friend’s wedding in New York, James Thompson is eager to go home, even though no one will be waiting for him at the gate. He has no expectations for his trip back to Charleston other than long lines, security, and bad airplane food. But when an annoying—albeit hot—stranger cuts him in line, James is determined not to be a pushover for once.

For Mika “It’s Mee-kuh, not Micah” Bailey, today’s just another day of boring work travel. That is, until his flight gets delayed, and some irritating (but handsome) guy keeps hogging all the good power outlets. Which means war. In the middle of an airport. In New York. What could go wrong?

Eventually, they declare a truce, and as they get to know each other, their attraction overwhelms them both. Terrified of what he’s feeling, Mika suggests a no-strings hookup, but serial-monogamist James wants more. If they don’t fight for what’s right in front of them, their romance might be canceled before it ever takes off.

The story begin with James who arrived so early at the airport on his way back to Charleston just to find out that the flight got delayed for few hours. As if that's not enough, then come a guy who cut the line and snaked the last charger at the charging station he'd been waiting for half an hour without even feels sorry.

Even the guy look so deliciously handsome, but to James he just 'a Rude Headphones Guy' to him because what he just did to him. And that's mean a war!

Mika (It’s Mee-kuh, not May-kuh!) thought that he will be missed his flight due to the traffic at the rush hour. But when he arrived at the airport within last minute just to find out that his flight just got delayed.

Joining with the sea of another passengers whose flight also got delayed, Mike then took seat near the charger station and plugged his phone to the charger. His act then got protest from a guy who insisted that he'd been there early and was in the next line to charge his phone when Mika cut his line.

The guy looks handsome with his blond hair and smile which remind him of the guy from Colgate guy commercial. Even feels a bit sorry for what he'd doing and had made the guy stare his dead glare to him after that, but there's something in that Colgate guy who catch his attention that want him to tease him more.

But when the Colgate guy cast his 'revenge' by 'humiliated' him in public and 'steal' his USB cord, that's mean a war!

And that's how this fun and light story begin...

Well, I can say that it's love at the first fight.

The book cover looks cute and caught my attention and the blurb seems adorable and tickling the curiosity in me. So, I decided to pick the book and read in in one sit.

The story was hilarious funny at almost the whole part, the friendnemies-to-lovers totally filled the air and could put a smile on your face almost the entire reading, the romance was good, the sexual tensions was high (but nothing had happen until the very last chapter), the pace is good with adorkable and lovely characters, and it's all put together in a good writing.

How the author slowly start the story with funny and almost 'child-like-tug-of-war' and prank between the two MC's and then moved to a truce moment and then ends up talking for hours and working through issues they’ve been struggling with for years, everything feels so smooth and natural.
And that what's make the story feels enjoyable enough to read.

James and Mika had come together like puzzle pieces. And I recommended this fun-light reading to all!
