Brighton is reluctant to burden the mysterious omega living in the forest, but under the omega’s care and charm, he wonders if he found the future he desperately wants after all.
But someone is watching them. Someone who Josh never thought he'd see again. Will Brighton and Josh admit their feelings for each other? Will they unite in time to stop this threat?
Well, I jumped into the story without knowing that the book was actually a spin-off from another series. So, yes. This is my first Ruby Nox's book and surprisingly... I like it!
Abandoned Omega was a sweet-heartwarming Mpreg story about Josh, a loner omega who lived with his son in the middle of the wood without any pack who protect them. Josh past has teach him to trust no one especially an alpha, because his life had ruined by an asshole alpha years ago.
So when four strangers alpha suddenly appeared in front his door, the first instinct Josh had is to prepare for the worst and ready to face the brutal confrontation. But when he know that one of the alpha was badly injured, he then offer them to stay at his house for the night and took care the wounded alpha and his fellows.
In short time Josh and his son, start to grow such a sweet relationship with the four alpha.
With Brighton still in recovery conditions, the rest of his friends then offer to help Josh fixing the house and the smokehouse in return for Josh kindness.
With time passes, Brighton who already has the feeling for Josh and his son right from the first time he saw him want to fully protect him. He see the family he'd been craved for so long in Josh and his son, but Josh seems to keep avoiding Brighton intention and push him away. Brighton then decided to leave Josh and bring his broken heart to the near pack to heal. But then something happen to Josh...
When Brighton know that Josh life is in danger, his wolf scream with anger to safe his omega no matter if it's also coat his life...
When I first saw this book and read the blurb, I didn't expect anything aside from looking for some light fresh reading to kill the time. And its indeed surprise me when it ended with I enjoying the story this much.
And now I'm curios about the other alpha in Brighton little circle. Will they also find their own omega and have the HEA?
